Shopping

I am a one-woman show here, so I spend 4-6 weeks throwing, carving, firing, glazing, firing again, photographing, and more before my work is officially for sale. I will have monthly store updates (dates flexible because I have a full-time job outside of pottery), and shoppers may purchase my work on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign up for my email list to be the first to know when my next shop update occurs, and/or follow my social media to see previews.
I do not hold items or reserve items. If it's available on the site, it's fair game.

At this time, I'm not taking any custom orders. From time to time, I will offer slots for custom orders, and those times will be notified only to email subscribers. Be sure to sign up for my [non-spammy] email list to be in the know.

I do not offer returns at this time, which is why I strive to take well-lit photos and provide as many details about each item that I can. It's up to you to read the descriptions, care instructions, and my other shop policies prior to making a purchase. Thank you for understanding that this is not something a small, one-person business can offer.

Pricing

Each piece is handmade from mud > a functional piece of art that requires weeks of detail work, thousands of dollars in equipment, and hundreds of hours in labor. I calculate the cost of each piece based on the cost of materials and the time it takes to make/decorate/fire a piece. You are receiving a unique piece that can never be exactly replicated. Art is not Walmart 😉

Shipping

  • All pieces will be packaged with care and shipped out within 3-7 business days of purchase. I will be in touch with a tracking number once your piece(s) ship.
  • Shipping costs are determined by the weight of the item once boxed. I do not charge more than USPS shipping rates, and will refund any shipping overages that occur once the item sends. Right now, I only offer USPS, but I will expand to UPS and possibly others when I get a hang of this part.
  • If you purchased more than one item and I can safely combine them into one package, you will likely receive a partial shipping refund. Sometimes it's safer for the items to ship separately with their own specific cushioning. My first goal is to ensure your pieces do not arrive broken. But if they do ...
  • Pottery is fragile and sometimes things happen in transit. If your item arrives broken, please contact me immediately. I must be contacted within 48 hours of delivery to set up a replacement order.

Pottery care tips

Many pieces I sell are both microwave and dishwasher safe, but I always recommend hand washing to ensure the longevity of your piece. If your piece has any kind of mother-of-pearl or metallic finishes, it CANNOT be put in the microwave. These pieces contain actual metal and will spark in the microwave. These pieces also should be hand washed to preserve the finish. Lastly, thermal shock can be avoided by running warm water over your mug before pouring boiling water into them. Always avoid freezing your pottery.
